November to February is ideal, when the weather is cooler and drier. December brings festive crowds around Christmas and New Year, so it's best to book early. March to June suits beach lovers, just before the monsoon starts, while July to October is quieter with occasional rain.
6-7 days works well for a first trip — enough to cover a city like Bangkok along with one or two beach destinations such as Pattaya, Phuket or Krabi, without feeling rushed.
Thailand offers visa-on-arrival for Indian passport holders at major entry points. You'll need your passport, a filled visa application form, a recent passport-size photo, return flight tickets, hotel booking confirmation, and proof of funds. Our team shares an updated checklist once your trip is confirmed.
The Thai Baht (THB) is the only widely accepted currency. We recommend converting cash before you travel or on arrival at the airport, and carrying a mix of cash and card for convenience.
